I don’t just teach dance lessons. Dance has been a vitally important part of my life.
Many years ago, I was shy and awkward. But deep down, I wanted to learn how to dance. One day I got the chance and I’ve never looked back. Not only did I become a very capable and confident dancer, but I became an expert to the point that I started offering dance lessons.
As an added bonus, I met my wife Shirlee Rankin along the way.
Since I learned how to dance, my life has changed and I see some of those same changes in the people I teach to dance. Dancing builds your confidence and self-esteem. You develop poise and grace. And maybe best of all: when you’re at weddings, work functions or other types of parties, dancers are only too eager to show off their moves!
Knowing how to dance and being confident is your dancing abilities is a wonderful feeling. Knowing what dance it is when the music starts, knowing how to lead a partner or be lead by a partner, and enjoying the admiration from the people around you is truly a delightful experience.
Looking to learn how to dance? I’d love to teach you.
